Do I need a dust management plan?

The National Dust Control Regulations, 2026 (GN R.7335, 31 March 2026) replaced the 2013 regulations and made dust management plans compulsory for several categories of operation, whether or not they have ever exceeded a dustfall limit. Answer four questions to see what applies to you.

1. Which of these describe your operation? (select all that apply)

2. Are you already operating?

3. Do you run dustfall (fallout bucket) monitoring?

4. Are workers exposed to dust from rock, sand, concrete, brick or stone?

This checker gives general guidance on the National Dust Control Regulations, 2026 and related exposure limits as published. It is not legal advice, and your licence conditions or an authority's instructions may add requirements. Confirm your obligations with your air quality officer or licensing authority.
